The first of two summer bake sales is scheduled for Sunday, June 11 at the 2 PM performance of Madama Butterfly. The sale takes place in the employee lounge and will begin at noon, and last until all the food has been sold.

Proceeds from the bake sale go to defray the cost of the Annual Super Party, which this year will be held at the Golden Gate Yacht Club on Sunday, November 19. If you enjoyed last year's party, or heard about the wonderful evening, we hope you will consider contributing in some way to this bake sale. There are two ways you can help—

1) Please consider bringing some sort of prepared dish for the sale. You can prepare one of your cherished recipes, or have your favorite shop do all the work. Here are some suggestions:

Mini-bagels and cream cheese
Mini-danish
Mixed green, fruit, vegetable, pasta or any other type of salad
Quiche
Vegetarian dishes
Cakes
Cupcakes 
Ethnic foods
Cookies
Rolls
Brownies
Roast turkey
Vegan dishes
Pies
Donuts
Spiral ham
Pasta dishes

2) Stop by and purchase some of the great food for sale.

All Supers are encouraged to attend the Bake Sale. Just show your ID at the stage door.

It is a great way to catch up with all your San Francisco Opera friends, but please do not wander backstage or around the building.
