Elektra 1991

Everybody who was in the 1991 Andreas Serban/Yannis Kokkos production of Strauss' Elektra calls it their favorite Super assignment. With a glittering cast, practically continuous stage time and our own curtain call at the end it was a dream opportunity. The photograph below was taken in the bowels of the opera house by chorister Dottie Dean: Look closely and underneath the layers of stage mud you'll spot Louis Schilling, Andrea Kohlruss, Katherine Brazaitis, Michael Strickland, Rick Gydesen Don Stoddard and Milko Encinas, among others.
