Minutes of the Meeting

The following members of the Supernumerary Committee (the �Committee�) of the San Francisco Opera (the �Opera�) were present for all or parts of the meeting:

Sally Warren

Also present were Carrie Murphy and Kimberly Thompson. Susan Anderson served as Chair and Irene Bechtel served as Secretary.

Susan called the meeting to order at 6:15 pm. Minutes of the April 19, 2004, meeting were read and approved. The Financial Report was accepted.

Financial Report: Paul distributed financial report with $1378.17 balance. Tom Carlisle was reimbursed for photo album and Mike Harvey for website host and registration.

Garage Sale: The garage sale netted $718 with enough left over for another sale.

Committee Elections: Susan will fill out ballot for election with names of those in attendance today who want to run. Everyone can vote now. Sixty to seventy supers need written ballots. Ballot needs to be typed out, e-mailed, and xeroxed. Mimi will head that effort. Ballots will be counted on June 14. Mike will put ballot on the website. Carrie will do labels and Mimi will pick up address labels.

Priscilla Lore joined the meeting at 6:40.

Super Party: Paul reported on the progress of his work with Fort Mason. He said that the Fort Mason people agreed to us using the room for free, but party date will be Saturday, December 11.

Susan suggested a Trivial Pursuit game for the Super Party as well as opera karaoke.

Bake Sale: La Boh�me�Irene, Mike, Mimi, Susan, and Andrew will work the sale. Set up at 11:00 a.m. with the sale starting at 11:30. Andrew will do the poster.

Website: Mike reported on the website using a report the host had put together, which details hits and visitor usage. The most popular part of the site was the Boh�me pictures.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 to accommodate rehearsal schedule.

The next meeting will be June 14, 2004, at 6:30 pm in the 4^th floor conference room of the Opera House. Sally will act as chair and Susan will be secretary.
