The mission of the Super Committee is to contribute to the excellence of performances by the San Francisco Opera and to the continued success of the Company by: joining together and overseeing all of the Supers who are participating in an opera performance, providing leadership to the Super corps, and maintaining discipline among Supers as warranted.

The Committee also represents the Supers in dealing with the San Francisco Opera Company, provides a convivial social atmosphere for the Supers, and contributes towards making the company successful and the supering experience more enjoyable in every possible way .
